K so today I decided to leave my house for the first time in forever cause I have no pokestops in sight near my entire house and I needed pokeballs. So there are like 6 of us including me we go to eat then head out toward town square. We reach a church along the way and notice a gym so we check it out, turns out it’s owned by someone we know, we take it nearly instantly because it’s easy when there’s multiple people. THEN ALL OF A SUDDEN SOME DUDE ROLLS UP IN A BLACK CAR. We’re like “wtf is this dude doing just parked in this loop”, then 20 seconds later the gym is under red control (we are team yellow) and the dude laughs and drives away… leaving his lvl 830 Pokemon while we stills have Pokemon in the 200′s. We somehow manage to take it back and then leave again. Then on the way to town hall the dude DRIVES PAST US, HONKS, AND 10 MINUTES LATER WE CHECK THE GYM ON OUR MAP AND IT’S TAKEN AGAIN. We give up cause we aren’t walking all the way back. We arrive at town hall at about 4 (We left the restaurant at 2) and there’s a shit ton of pokestops to collect just walking around. While we were picking this up we meet a bunch of sick people also playing pokemon so the town square of my town is just a bunch of people doing laps on their phones catching pokemon. That was my first time even being to my town hall and it was great. So after screaming out “TEAM YELLOW REPRESENT” for a while at people playing pokemon as well, we leave back to the chuch to take it back. We get there and end up not being able to take it back cause of server lag even though his pokemon was one hit away. Then one of my friends rolls up in his car and offers to give us a ride back to town hall to do another loop, so we accept and head out. WHEN WE GET THERE THE GUY IN THE BLACK CAR RIDES PAST, STOPS FOR THE POKESTOPS, LOOKS AT US, AND LEAVES… my town is at a virtual war I swear. So it’s about 5 now and a bunch of people from our school show up playing pokemon and the gym there is taken by team blue and I’m pretty sure they were camping it so no point in trying to take it so we leave with a few new Pokemon and that was our day. Idk what my point in sharing this was except that GUY IN THE BLACK CAR was a piece of shit and I didn’t actually expect my entire town to be at a Pokemon war honestly it’s so interesting.
